Shop orders will be processed and dispatched subject to successful payment and address details being correct.

All orders placed before 3:00pm Monday-Friday will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3:00pm may still be dispatched but this is NOT guaranteed.

Please note: Under certain circumstances (if an order if particularly large or complex) it may not be possible to dispatch orders placed before 3:00pm, so we recommend ordering as early as possible, especially during the peak tanning season.

Placing an order from overseas

We can only accept orders with a UK shipping address (including Northern Ireland).

Backorders

Any items ordered that are not in stock will be held on backorder and shipped as soon as they become available.

Adding to an existing order

You will not be able to add to an existing order online. Please contact us immediately by phone or email before placing an additional order. We will endeavour to dispatch both orders together, although if this isn’t possible additional postage costs for a separate order will apply.

Delivery areas

We only ship orders within the UK (including Northern Ireland). We are unable to ship any orders overseas.

Retail customers

  • FREE delivery is available on orders totalling £30 or greater, dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-3 days).
  • Orders under £30 are chargeable at £4.99, dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-3 days).
  • Next working day delivery* by DPD Courier is available at £7.99.

1. What is Clearpay?

Clearpay is a payment service that lends customers a fixed amount of credit to make purchases instantly and then pay for them in 4 automatic instalments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest (late fees apply). Please use Clearpay responsibly.

The service is provided by Clearpay Finance Ltd. Clearpay Plans are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

2. How do I use Clearpay?

Just shop on Merchant Site and check out as normal. At checkout, choose the Clearpay payment method. You will be directed to the Clearpay website to register and provide payment details (Visa, Mastercard or Amex).

If you’ve used Clearpay before, just log in to your Clearpay account.

Then complete your order!

3. Where can I use Clearpay?

4. Who can use Clearpay?

Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address.

Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account.

5. How does the Clearpay payment schedule work?

Clearpay will split the total value of your order into 4 instalments payable every fortnight. The exact amounts and dates will be displayed for you to agree to before you confirm your purchase.

If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log into your Clearpay account to make your payments early. Clearpay will then adjust the amount owed accordingly.

You can log in to your Clearpay account anytime to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the next due date.

6. What if I can’t pay a Clearpay instalment?

If you cannot make a payment, please contact Clearpay here.

As soon as you miss a payment, Clearpay will immediately stop you from making any further purchases with Clearpay.

Clearpay will give you until 11pm on the following day to make your repayment and then you will incur a late fee if you are still not able to make the payment by then. This will be an initial £6 and a further fee of £6 if the missed payment is not made within 7 days. If your order is less than £24, the total late fee will be £6. If your order is £24 or over, total late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order or £24, whichever is less.

Clearpay debt may be passed to a debt collection agency and this may affect your ability to use Clearpay in future. We encourage you to use Clearpay responsibly. Please see Clearpay Terms of Service for further details.

7. When will my items be delivered if I use Clearpay?

Clearpay orders are delivered within our standard delivery timeframes like any order from Peak Tanning and Beauty Supplies Ltd.

8. Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single Clearpay transaction?

Yes, your order value including shipping must be between £0 and £1000 to use Clearpay. Your maximum order value may be lower depending on factors such as being a new customer or your payment history.

9. Can I use another form of payment with Clearpay?

Yes, you may also use a gift card, cash, or a promotional code with Clearpay to pay for your purchase.

10. How do I return or exchange an item purchased with Clearpay?

Items purchased with Clearpay follow our standard return process.

Please note, refunds for Clearpay purchases will be refunded from Peak Tanning and Beauty Supplies Ltd ​to Clearpay. We cannot provide an exchange or cash refund.

When the refund is processed, any upcoming payments you have to Clearpay will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with. Please note that until the merchant has confirmed the receipt of any return goods, you will be liable to continue to make your payments to Clearpay.

Who can earn Loyalty Points?

Both Trade and Retail customers with an account can earn Loyalty Points. Guest users who do not have an account cannot earn Loyalty Points.

How can I earn Loyalty Points?

1) You will earn 1 Point for every £1 spent.
2) 1 Point equals 0.01p (so 100 Points will earn £1).

PLEASE NOTE: Points are calculated on the Order Total (inc VAT where applicable and Shipping charges) and NOT the Subtotal.

Can I earn Loyalty Points on all products?

Yes! ALL products will earn you Points.

How do I spend my Loyalty Points?

You can redeem Points in the Basket for a discount on your order. The Loyalty Points section will show you your current Points total and how much they are worth. Simply enter the amount of Points you wish to use (either the full or partial amount) and click ‘REDEEM NOW’. If you do not see the Redemption Form then you do not have any Points.

Do my Loyalty Points expire?

Yes, but we give you 1 year to use your Points from the date of your last order. If you do not place an order within 1 year of your last order then ALL of your Points will expire.

Can I redeem my Loyalty Points if I forget to log in and check out as a guest?

Yes! Simply email us at info@peaksalonsupplies.co.uk with your Order Number and we’ll add the Points to your account.

Who can Purchase Gift Cards?

Only Retail (non Trade) customers can purchase Gift Cards.

I’ve purchased a Gift Card but the recipient has not received the Gift Card email.

If they have already checked their junk/spam folder then please contact us and we can resend the Gift Card email, or provide the Gift Card number to pass on (your order number will be required).

Can I print out the Gift Card instead of the recipient receiving an email?

Yes, when you are making your purchase simply enter your own email address into the ‘To’ field and once received click on the ‘View or print your gift card’ link at the bottom of the email.

How do I redeem my my Gift Card?

You can either click on the ‘Redeem’ button on the Gift Card email, which will automatically apply the discount in the basket (for that session only). Alternatively, you can enter the Gift Card number into the Coupon field in the basket to apply the discount.

Can the Gift Card discount be applied to a delivery charge?

The discount is applied to the order total so any delivery charges are included.

Do Gift Cards expire?

Yes, all Gift Cards expire two years after the purchase date.

How can I check you Gift Card balance?

Simply visit the Gift Card Balance page and enter your Gift Card Number.

Unwanted Items

If you have ordered any items you no longer require or ordered incorrectly then please contact us by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Please do not return any items without contacting us first.

Items must then be returned within 7 days and be in their original condition, unworn or unused and in their original packaging. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Eligibility for a refund is based on the condition of the item upon its return. No refund will be issued for any item that is deemed to have been used or tampered with (Unless the item is damaged, see Damaged or Faulty Items).

Eligible items will be refunded using the original method of payment.

Items ordered incorrectly can be exchanged subject to stock availability. Additional postage charges will apply.

Postage costs incurred by returning unwanted items will NOT be refunded by Peak Tanning and Beauty Supplies Ltd. We strongly recommend obtaining a ‘Proof of Postage Certificate’ as we cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost in transit.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Any damaged or faulty items must be reported to us by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. If we do not receive notification within this time frame then any damage or other deficiency will be deemed to have occurred after delivery and we are not at liberty to refund or replace the item.

Please retain any damaged/faulty items as we may require photographic evidence before they can be returned.

Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.

Postage costs incurred in returning damaged or faulty items will be covered by Peak Tanning and Beauty Supplies Ltd.

Shortages or Incorrect Items

Any shortages or incorrect items you have received must be reported to us by phone or email within 48 hours of receipt of the goods, in order for us to correct the problem.

As our online shop contains an extensive range of tanning lotions and moisturisers we have put together a simple guide to help you identify the right lotion for your skin type.

Look for these colour coded labels whilst browsing our shop:

Accelerators

Accelerating lotions contain no Bronzers, Tingle or Cooling effect, and are specifically formulated to condition the skin and add moisture, and have all the ingredients needed to achieve your desired tanning results.

Accelerating lotions feature the most skin conditioning ingredients and assist your body’s tanning process, which helps to develop your tan naturally and helps to establish a base tan.

Tanning level: All levels. Suitable for beginners.

Bronzers

Bronzing lotions contain natural ingredients that provide instant colour to the skin. The heat from the sunbed combined with the bronzing lotion helps the bronzers develop a natural looking, fast tan.

There are 3 main types of bronzers:

  • DHA Bronzers – Develops over 4-8 hours and are best used with an established base tan.
  • Cosmetic/Instant Bronzers – Provides instant colour to the skin that washes away.
  • Natural Bronzers – Totally streak free and low maintenance. Enhances the tan with a subtle veil of colour for a healthy glow.

Tanning level: Intermediate to Advanced tanners.

Advice: You will need to wash your hands after using a Bronzing lotion.

Tingle

Tingle lotions help stimulate rapid circulation on the surface of the skin, creating an extreme redness and warming/tingling sensation that not only enhances the appearance and intensity of the tan, but enables you to see and feel your skin tanning immediately.

Ingredients stimulate the skins micro circulation, increasing the oxygen supply to the skin which helps its ability to tan.

Tingle strength varies across tanning lotion brands from ‘mild’ tingle to ‘extreme’ tingle.

Tanning level: Experienced tanners only.

Advice: Test a small area of your skin before use. Not suitable for use on the face. You will need to wash your hands after using a Tingle lotion.

Coolers

Cooling lotions contain a feature that makes your skin feels cool as you tan. This helps you achieve your desired result while helping your skin feel cool.

Moisturisers

All tanning lotions help moisturise the skin but these lotions are designed as an after tanning treatment, to extend the life of your tan. They are specifically formulated to help replenish the skin’s natural moisture, leaving it looking and feeling its very best.

Advice: Dry skin does not tan as well so remember to moisturise frequently.

More tanning terms

Here are some more tanning terms we use in some of our product descriptions:

Body Blush – Immediate photo-reactive blushed glow. Provides a flushed look of a tingle product without the heat.

Dermadark – Clear, non-staining bronzers.

Hemp – Natural oil extract rich in enzymes that softens and conditions skin to increase UV light absorption for maximum tanning.

Tan Fresh – Helps eliminate after tan odour.

Immediate Bronzers – Extra immediate bronze colour that last 1-2 days. You will need to wash your hands after using a Bronzing lotion.

Delayed Bronzers – Extra delayed bronze colour that is fully noticeable 8-24 hours and last 4-7 days. You will need to wash your hands after using a Bronzing lotion.

Tan Activating Bronzers – Revolutionary blend of melanin activating boosters to provide your own natural darkest bronze colour.

Why use a sunbed tanning lotion?

UV Tanning lotions should be used by all tanners prior to a sunbed tanning session. These lotions are specifically designed and formulated for indoor use and add depleted moisture and vitamins which can be lost during the tanning process.

In addition to these moisturising properties, tanning lotions also contain features that aid the tanning process in other ways.

UV light is best received through well maintained skin. Using these lotions can increase the results from a tanning session by up to 30-40%, depending on skin type and condition.

It is also recommended that you moisturise your skin after each session and after showering/bathing.
